Support for offenbach church planting

"I want to live my life in such a way
that it makes no sense apart from the existence of god."

Philip Mc Allister

Church planting in Offenbach started in the Fall of 2019 and was hit hard by COVID shortly after.
Since the Spring of 2020 we have had to start over and over again.

Today the emerging community is running a program for refugees, mostly Afghan families that had been evacuated from Kabul in 2021.
In spite of the pandemic, we also started a coffee shop that has evolved into a cultural hotspot for the inner city,
with concerts of local musicians, artists and comedians. Both projects interact fruitfully with each other.

I believe that Offenbach can be a piece of heaven on earth
and that we as humans need a community around us that loves
and supports us, endures, accompanies and challenges us.
I also believe that there is still a lot of injustice, violence,
loneliness and real hell in this city.
This breaks my heart and reminds me every day that we need to
follow Jesus to these very places.
